PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLASSES (2-4 year old girls)
Vision Gymnastics' Preschool Gymnastics Program is a developmental sequence of movements taught utilizing games, obstacle courses, special equipment, drills and gymnastics. Fundamental motor, gross motor, locomotion, and manipulative skills are all incorporated into a well structured lesson plan specially designed for girls 2-4 years old. Through innovative, challenging lessons, our Preschool Program strives to develop and fine-tune many essential qualities in each child. Grouped by age and skill level, our beginners participate and learn in an atmosphere that enables every child to be successful, thus increasing each child's level of self-esteem. This positive desire to achieve then carries over into their daily encounters outside of Vision Gymnastics.
Tiny Tots is a 45 minute class for 2 year olds.
Somersaults is a 60 minute class for 3 & 4 year olds.
RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS CLASSES (5-12 year old girls)
Vision Gymnastics' Recreational Gymnastics program is for girls ages 5 years old and older. Our program is based on the guidelines set forth by USA Gymnastics and is for the beginner as well as the advanced gymnast. Athletes will receive instruction on all four women’s Olympic gymnastics events including Vault, Beam, Bars and Floor. Our lesson plans include games, stretches, drills, and activities that build the foundation for the gymnastics skills the students require for each level. The classes are designed to build strength, flexibility, and confidence while promoting teamwork, increasing fitness and teaching basic gymnastic skills.
Flip Flops is a 60 minute class for 5 & 6 year old girls.
Vision A is a 60 minute class for 7-12 year old girls.
Our Vision B and Vision C classes as well as our PreTeam and Team Levels 1-10 require an evaluation to enter unless students have been moved up by their current coach. Girls who have had more than a year gymnastics instruction ON ALL 4 EVENTS should be evaluated before registering for a class to ensure she is entered into the appropriate level.
NINJA CLASSES (4-12 year old boys)
Ninja classes are 60 minutes long and are specifically designed for boys who want to participate in a fun and energetic strength-training class. Ninja lesson plans incorporate obstacles and various team building activities to improve the athlete’s balance, agility, speed, coordination, and endurance. These classes will help promote overall strength and confidence in other sports activities outside of Vision Ninja classes such as soccer, karate, wrestling, football, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, or any other extracurricular sport. Athletes will learn to control and maintain a healthy, competitive drive as they participate in competitive relays, obstacle courses, and other coordination-focused activities.
